Bam! Emeril Lagasse in Space

Recently Emeril “Bam!” Lagasse’s penchant for charity brought joy to the floundering NASA space program. Last month, the Expedition 13 crew sampled his good ‘ol boy gourmet comfort food through a straw. Astronauts enjoyed the famous New Orleans chef ’s spices for space exploration, licking their chops after sucking float-away packets of jambalaya, mashed potatoes with bacon, garlic green beans, rice pudding, and mixed fruit. Space food is usually quite bland, probably to avoid ulcers and ‘roids in space, so the crew was more than excited to “kick it up a notch”.
