Bay Area Channel 104.9 is Back

As of 5:00pm today, February 27th, 2007, Channel 104.9 is back. After receiving a multitude of complaints regarding the switchover to Mexican Romantic music, Clear Channel opted to bring the station back, with a concerted effort toward not making it suck so much. Although I ragged on 104.9 in my last post, I think this might be a good thing. I’ve actually removed 105.3 from my presets due to their immensely annoying morning show. The New 104.9 will focus on the 25-34 year old demographic, as well as feature two “mobile” broadcasting stations in the form of boxy scions. We’ll just have to see what that does for them.
