Crayon Shin Chan. I never figured the show would get any attention here. Kris first introduced me to the hilariously rude little character when we first started going out, over six years ago. The character was huge in Japan at the time, and she had assorted Shin Chan collectables ranging from Shin Chan playing cards to Shin Chan posters. Fast forward to 2006. After a brief stint on Cartoon Network Shin Chan’s garnered a genuine cult following, and a hefty push to get the show back on the air. That’s where the Bastard Brigade comes in.
You see, the Bastard Brigade is an organization spearheaded by Funimation and Shin Chan Fans to get the Shin Chan show back on Cartoon Network, and the audience it deserves. It’s kinda like the work of the Serenity fans, only not quite as embarrasing, and with the added incentive of free Shin Chan merchandise. Now membership status hinges on completion of various promotional missions, ranging from flyer putting to MySpace promotions, which, to be completely honest, we at Dreamlogic don’t have that much time for. But, I know some of you out there would be quite interested (plus, I want my chance to see Shin Chan). And heck, free stuff is always cool, right?

was there one of those for Lupin the IIIrd?
Cause I would totally join that.
Well, that’s the thing. I don’t think Lupin has a hard time finding a fanbase in the US. Most people don’t really know about Shin Chan.
YES, I SAW COMMERCIAL, SHIN CHAN IS BACK, MONDAY DECEMBER 10TH, AT 12:30
Oh, man. Finally something to watch on CN? I was up at 12:30, but thought they would only be showing its usual lineup of Futurama and Naruto. This is going to be weekly now?
