Cyriak Harris gives the best nightmare parades

Cyriak Harris gives the best nightmare parades -- dreamlogic.netEnamored with his previous monster teddy bears video Cycles, I’m happy to report that Brixton’s Cyriak Harris is going viral again, this time with spider cows.

When I first viewed Cycles, his animation style didn’t quite grab me, but I couldn’t help but replay it, impressed by the endless edgy experimentation, jovial quality, unexpected looped continuity, and attention to physics (however they apply in his creations) which so many animators can’t seem to grasp. I was, however, absolutely smitten with Cyriak’s combination of glitchcore, chiptunes, noisecore; this is so my kind of music, although most would not even classify it as music. Plus, the calliope wurlitzer just screams Brixton, doesn’t it? Such fun.

Some people call his work nightmarish, but it looks like a talented guy having fun at his computer to me.
