CANBERRA (Reuters) - An Australian state plans to ban students from wearing denim because it is linked with having a good time.
“It is associated with weekend wear, with recreational time. It’s just unacceptable at schools and we are trying to lift the standards,” a spokesman for Western Australia state Education Minister Ljiljanna Ravlich said.
The ban on denim in Western Australia’s secondary schools will be imposed from 2007.
Oh my gosh yes, jeans have frequently been linked to disruptive behavior and International chaos! Poo poo to kids having a good time! Poo poo! Not wearing jeans will also put an end to petty theft and vandalism! Let them suffer and get used to what it will be like when they are pushed into the proper suits and ties and uncomfortable dress shoes of the “mature-level” workforce. Mwuahahha! Well, actually it’s pretty business casual here in California thank God. You East Coasters have it bad.
On a side note, I heard that my old High School banned ultra-baggy gangsta-wannabe trousers because it was a “health hazzard”. Apparently some numbnuts were tripping over their own clothes and bawling about it.
They should outlaw UGG boots. What tards actually think those are cool? Cool post, luv!
I agree.. UGG boots are cruel and ugg-ly! :|
