First ever Halloween Haunt at Great America 2008

Heyas! Chris and I just got back from the super crazy awesome Halloween Haunt at Great America in Santa Clara, so if you’ve $40 (+$10 per car parking) to spare, go now, go now!! Yay!! It’s so completely worth it… definitely aces above the disappointing haunted houses around the Bay lately. Best of all, students get $10 off ticket prices. Plus, ohmigod, rollercoasters in the dark!!
Four hours just flew by as we went on almost all of the thrill rides (no hands, of course! wheeee!) and visited all the haunted mazes; really impressive effects and masks and overall ambiance. There are so many actors running around the mazes and the “scare zone” areas that you won’t feel gypped. Of course, I’m a retard that doesn’t frighten easily, so I was trying to open the creepy outhouse doors in the Corn maze, to get the jump on whomever or whatever was hiding inside, and broke off the plywood piece the handle was attached to… sorries!
NOTE: You might want to leave a little before closing at midnight, or else you’ll be stuck in multiple bottlenecks in the parking lot. Also, bring a hoodie because it’s pretty nippy whipping around on those rides.
