Gentleman Broncos — trailer
The director and writer of Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre, Jared Hess, looks like he has done it again. And he’s brought along Jennifer Coolidge (the MILF from American Pie), Jemaine Clement (from the awesome Flight of the Conchords, Mike White (writer of The Good Girl and School of Rock) and Sam Rockwell (Moon, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, upcoming Iron Man 2) along for the ride.
Jemaine, sounding a lot like Alan Rickman or a drunk Orson Welles, plays self-righteous fantasy novelist Ronald Chevalier, who blatantly plagiarizes an innocent home-schooled kid’s story to save his own literary hide. The kid, Benjamin (Michael Angarano) watches hopelessly as Chevalier’s success expands, eventually leading to a wacky film adaptation. It’s like two movies in one!
