Yup. It’s that time of the year again. Google’s in the midst of it’s latest dance, codename “Jagger”. So far the dance has proved quite beneficial for Dreamlogic.net. Though we’ve lost a few incoming links, our pagerank has improved. Consequently a few of our reviews are popping up higher than they have for quite some time.
But though the dance is good for us, it doesn’t always turn out so well for others. Granted, those whose entire web campaign relies on link-spamming natually see a drop in listings, but there are small businesses that can be hurt terribly by the search reselt re-evaluation. I know that during the Florida dance of a couple years back, a small company I was working for, called AZC, Inc, went dang near invisible afterwards. I was the person in charge of their SEO, and was able to tweak it back up to the number one spot for “San Francisco Web hosting” only a couple weeks later, but the downward bump nevertheless was quite disconcerting. These days it seems they go for “elite unix web hosting” and are still ranked number 1.
Anyways, so we can get a general concensus on this latest dance, post your site’s experience with Google’s Jagger below. Have your search placement, traffic, or pagerank increased or decreased? Are you happy with the dance? Post away!

Thanks for the heads up on the new page rank system. Weird, as I checked my page rank an hour ago and it was at 2 and now (an hour later) it is at 5. Go figure. I won’t be surprised if by tomorrow it is back to 2.
