Clinton seeks video game sex scene probe
“We should all be deeply disturbed that a game which now permits the simulation of lewd sexual acts in an interactive format with highly realistic graphics has fallen into the hands of young people across the country,” Clinton wrote in a letter to the head of the Federal Trade Commission.
Highly realistic graphics? Please, Hillary. The GTA series has always sacrificed graphics for breadth of gameplay. Note that I grew bored of GTA halfway through Vice City, and have never bothered to play San Andreas, but the character models of the GTA series, for the most part, have been only slightly better than your average first generation Playstation 2 game. If you’re looking for titillation, animated stick figures in a popular videogame are not going to be your first choice. And you’re going after a modder, not the makers of a game. “Kids” have to seek out this mod in order to use it.
The article goes on to mention:
Saying the problem of explicit video games was “spiraling out of control,” Clinton also said she was introducing legislation that would crack down on the sale of violent and sex-laden games to minors.
Sure, you could ban this type of game from being sold to minors, but even then, kids are learning about this stuff from other kids by the fourth grade at the very latest. I remember when I was back in the 5th grade, during a sexual education class, a friend of mine asked the teacher if lesbians used strap-ons for sex. Now, mind you, the concept of lesbians, and even the sex toy, was never introduced by the teacher. The kid knew about it from other kids…older brothers of friends and so on. If you don’t want kids to encounter any sort of objectionable material you’d have to home school them, prevent them from using the internet, prevent them from interacting with other kids, and prevent them from viewing the nighttime news, which, incidentally, also happens to be the number one place for viewing of ads for Cialis and Levitra.
The one thing I’m wondering is how the minors have enough money to go buy the games by themselves? Do they have part time jobs while attending junior high? This makes me suspicious that maybe their parents are buying the video games for them. And if it’s the parents who are objecting to the game, maybe they should have read the back of the game box before slapping down the cash to purchase it.
We don’t need more legislation because parents can’t take responsibility for their own actions. Maybe you should find something useful to spend our tax dollars on, Ms. Clinton.

I like to think of myself as a smart girl, but there are a ton who are smarter than me. At least I’m not like Dubbya who has called himself “the Decider”. HAHA - That’s so funny!
