INN/TSN, Yserbius, Boogers and more

So work and school have both been insanely busy, and I haven’t seen anything really worth relating to you guys (that Kris hasn’t already covered), but for those pre-web dialup-gamers out there I did come across something pretty cool. If any of you remember ImagiNation Network (aka: The Sierra Network) there are a few sites devoted to recreating the TSN/INN experience through modern programming languages, as well as connecting old INN members. The two best sites: FauxInn.com and Yserbius.org. I was an avid INNer for many years, from back in the TSN days until AOL bought them out and completely obliterated the project, and to be honest I haven’t seen anything quite like it since. Red Baron, Boogers, Yseribius, LarryLand, paintball, the awesome face creators, that network was rockin’. But nostalgic waxing aside, what these guys have going is pretty cool. There’s an awesome flash version of the standard/Clubhouse face creator on FauxINN and a rather lively community over at Yserbius.org. Also. Yserbius has a collection of mini-arcade games, including Hexxagon, which works on the same principles as Boogers. Check em out.
