Love conquers all except cigarettes

Not a day goes by that I don’t count my lucky stars that I’m married to my forever love and that I’m so glad I found him. So of course, I’ll continue to post articles about ill-fated marriages so you can all laugh and point at them. Just kidding, it’s horrible news when a couple wants to split, especially after they’ve taken the plunge. What’s even worse than a bad public divorce is being married to a smoker. One man in Italy hopes the Vatican’s Sacra Romana Rota will agree. He has appealed to the high court with his annulment request, stating that he is fit and healthy and his bride lied about quitting the nasty nicotine after they wed and is now well, slowly killing him.

To request an annulment places the healthnut into a collective of mammoni or “Mamma’s Boys” who are still unnaturally attached to their mothers or parents even into their 30s and 40s, but he’d rather be called a mammoni than a divorcee.
