I just received a mysterious package from Overture Films in the mail today. Inside was a clear plastic box filled with shredded dollar bills, and sealed with a sticker of a big M, in the dollar’s “In God We Trust” font. The little cube was rather heavy, so I cut the seal and opened it up. Inside was a Masterlock padlock, key-based rather than combination, which was locked around a little tag connected to the lock’s keys. The tag itself says “Will they get away with it” (in money font) on one side, and “1-18-08″ on the other. I don’t know if that helps you Cloverfield fanatics, but there you go. The only other identifying marks on the lock are a Made in China stamp, and a “No. 150″ embossed on its base. What do you think?
*UPDATE* A quick look around reveals that this is actually a piece for the new Diane Keaton, Katie Holmes, and Queen Latifa movie, Mad Money. Imagine that, piggy backing a viral marketing campaign on an already established viral marketing campaign. Too funny. You can check out the trailer for Mad Money on the Overture Films website, here.

umm here is a face shot of the cloverfield monster. its in the 2nd trailer when the bridge is being destroyed. can’t believe you idiots havn’t found it yet, i found it the first time.
