Sukeban Hunters: Soukatsu Nagurikomi Sakusen trailer
Kazufumi Nakahira and Shinichi Okuda’s homage to Sukeban films,Sukeban Hunters: Soukatsu Nagurikomi Sakusen now has an official trailer. Now, I’m not going to pretend to know too much about this production, but I know it should be of interest to any fans of Norifumi Suzuki, Teruo Ishii, or even Quentin Tarantino.
The film is based off a 17-minute short film called Yakuza Hunters, itself a sort of meta-parody of 70’s Japanese exploitation films. The film also stars Asami (Sukeban Boy, Machine Girl) and Reina Komine (Sodom the Killer, Masked Rider: The First, and is jam packed with references to everything from Sasori to the Girl Boss films, so it’s pretty much guaranteed a fanbase out the door.
