Thanks. I was wondering what Hugh Grant + Bob Dylan + Milla Jovovich + 80s Andrew McCarthy + Gabe Nevins‘ lovechild would look like (if human genetics worked like cats’). He looks like PJ Liguori.
Of course he’s pretty adorkable (not entirely my type, but admittedly adorkable). Of course he makes imaginative muted palette videos (one with a song by Monster Rally, no less!). Of course he has a soothing voice and yummy accent. (The way he says the word “no” is like, the best out of anyone that ever lived, ever.) Of course he’s adept at folksy guitar. Of course he has stunning icy aqua grey eyes (although my husband’s chameleon hazel-green-amber eyes are the prettiest I’ve ever seen, sorry).
And of course he has a healthy crush on Zelda/Nintendo and a hot-and-heavy bromance with Bill Hader/Johnny Knoxville/Christina Ricci/Rainn Wilson hybrid Chris Kendall (aka: Crabstickz), who is quite possibly THE FUNNIEST and CUTEST* (not to mention TALLEST) guy on YouTube. (*and not an obvious cute like Finn Harries, but he grows on you. Chris and Finn both have green/hazel eyes! *swoon*)
Despite, or perhaps due to their total polar opposite facial features and personalities, the duo’s talents and collabs are such a delight to watch. Apparently fans slash and ship them a lot, too. Perverts, really.
So you can say my ~week of soaking up British YouTube bizarreness has culminated serendipitously and led me to two of the most creative and effortlessly hilarious YouTubers (ugh, potatoes?), which I’m quite thankful for, as I needed a new obsession, err hobby.
The most recent “reward” is a pair of yaoi-type scenarios reminiscent of the Lonely Island Chip sketch and Between Two Ferns with Michael Cera. Enjoy, sickos.
**BONUS: please also note the super cute nuances between Northener vs. South (Southeast?) English accents.
