The Inglourious Dildo
Some directors aren’t afraid to pull pranks on their cash cows cast. On the set of Inglourious Basterds, director Quentin Tarantino dipped into the fun bag and apparently pulled out a dildo… but not just “any” dildo…
“Big Jerry was a giant purple dildo, very large in girth and length,” Tarantino described. “Basically, anybody that was caught going to sleep would get photographed with Big Jerry the dildo somewhere near their face and put up on the Board of Shame. The idea was three strikes and you’re out. This kind of really worried me because I have a tendency to nap. If I have 10 or 15 minutes you’d find me in a corner underneath something but I never got caught.”
Avid prankster Brad Pitt was caught once (above right), Gedeon Burkhard (Corporal Wilhelm Wicki) twice, while Michael Fassbender (Lt. Archie Hicox) snoozed so stealthily; he was the only one who didn’t make the board.
Supposedly, Michael Bay uses his own “purple member” to prank his cast, and Alfred Hitchcock tea-bagged his actors, you know, Chippendales’ style.
