Director Masayuki Suo’s first film since Shall We Dansu?, Soredemo boku wa yattenai (aka: Even So, I Didn’t Do It) is now up on Quicktime Japan. The film is about a salaryman who is arrested and put on trial for the alleged molestation of a woman on Tokyo subway. Now, being that Shall We Dansu? is easily one of my favorite films of all time, foreign or domestic, and given that Kris has given me a sweatshirt emblazoned with the Beware of Perverts warning sign found on many Japanese subway trains, I will definitely be checking this out. The film stars Yakusho Koji of Tampopo, Shall We Dansu?, and the upcoming Babel. Check out the trailer here.
