Trailer for Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko)’s Southland Tales now up

I remember trying to get people to see Donnie Darko with me while it was in its theatrical run in the city. “What? A movie about a talking bunny and time travel? With Patrick Swayze and the Bubble Boy? No thanks.” You can lead a horse to water, but can’t force them to drink, right?
Anyways, now that everyone and their mother has seen Donnie Darko, I’m sure you’ll actually want to check this one out. It’s an end of the world tale starring The Rock, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Justin Timberlake, Mandy Moore, and Sean William Scott. Yah, even weirder than Swayze and the Bubble Boy, huh? The film looks very Gilliam’s Brazil, which is a good thing.
