TRAILER WATCH . Sukiyaki Western Django, Jigayaku no uta, Get Smart, and much much more

I figure it’s about time for another round of trailer links. There’s actually a lot of interesting stuff coming up. For the most part, this lineup looks to be a nice break from the summer grind, if I do say so myself.

Sukiyaki Western Django . Most of you probably are familiar with Takashi Miike’s latest, a gonzo Japanese western, and have probably seen your fair share of trailers. But now there’s a trailer in quicktime! Check it out here.

Jigyaku no uta . Insane romantic comedy starring Miki Nakatani (Ring 2, Train Man) and Hiroshi Abe (Survive Style 5+), and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi (2LDK). Looks to have quite a bit to do with food. Check it out here. Official site here

Kappa . New Anime about a Japanese river goblin. Trailer here

Piano . Another anime, this time concerning a Piano in the woods. Check out the trailer here.

In the Valley of Elah . Tommy Lee Jones’ son comes back from Iraq, and promptly DISAPPEARS! Jones then goes to find him. Hilarity ensues. here

Get Smart . Steve Carrell inherits the shoe phone. Trailer here.

No Country for Old Men . New Cohen Brothers. ‘Nuff said. Trailer here.

War . Jet Li so lied. He’s back for a second action film with Jason Statham. Trailer here.

Rush Hour 3 . As much as I hate to admit it, these films usually win me over. This time around Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker hit France. Trailer here.

Margot at the Wedding . New Noah Baumbach film. Should be good. Stars Jack Black and Nicole Kidman. Trailer here.

The Ten . Ten shorts about the Ten Commandments from the guys behind The State. Check out the trailer here.

Hitman . Timothy Olyphant bald! Check out the trailer here .
