UCLA Library Tasering Incident

Here’s a reason why YouTube’s user uploaded videos are so completely awesome. An incident of police abusing their power, that would have been either swept under the rug, or relegated to a two second sound byte on the evening news, is now national story, thanks to a citizen journalist uploading his video to YouTube. I really don’t have the words to talk about the video at the moment, save for that the police treatment of the protester really really angers me. “Stand up, or you’ll get tasered again.” What lowlife scum these guys are. Let’s hope the new congress can restore at least a little of the civil liberties we’ve lost. Check out the video here.
