Check this out. Meiko Kaji, now in her sixties, performing Urami Bushi (Female Prisoner Scorpion’s Grudge Song). She actually looks pretty healthy for her age (she’s dropped the stick-skinny thing, but not the Stray Cat Rock clothes), and still sounds exactly the same as on her Zenkyokushu album.     She definitely looks good for her age and I like how she sings with importance and emotion.

    I also love the audience with its mix of polite ladies in kimonos and girls in eighties party dresses complete with green gloves.
