Virginia Tech shooter copycat emerges in CA
As soon as you begin counting the days ’till a copycat tries to take center stage after the Virginia Tech massacre, some meth addict waves his alleged AK-47 around. In Yuba City California, 28 year old Jeffery Thomas Carney threatened that he not only possessed the assault rifle but had bombs and poison in his arsenal. Yesterday evening he told his church pastor that he would use those weapons to make Virginia Tech shooter Cho Seung-Hui’s rampage “look mild”.
Because the threat was vague, all Yuba City district high schools (12,000 students) were placed in lock-down and students were sent home early.
The photo below is of Carney at an undisclosed date. Although police may have possibly found his car, Carney’s whereabouts are still unknown.
