Miss Messenger but you’re not allowed to download any new programs on your work computer? Like to travel but don’t have your own laptop? Just plain lazy? Any slew of reasons why you wouldn’t take the time or just cannot download Yahoo! Messenger can be squashed now that we’ve released the beta of Yahoo! Messenger for the Web. Hot on the heels of current web messenger Meebo, Google Talk, and the upcoming Trillian Astra, here is our take on it. You can chat with Y! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger buddies.

Now if they could on fix Y! Messenger for Mac, that would be sweet, although I’d still probably use Adium (like Trillian for Mac).
